THE GRAB & GO GRIEF KIT:

A PRACTICAL WORKBOOK TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND, NAVIGATE, AND HEAL YOUR GRIEF

Grief is hard. It feels worse and lasts longer than we ever imagine. Yet grief is also its own medicine. It’s the way that your body, mind, and heart heal after a great loss. It’s how you grow into a larger self. Grief is important, valuable, and sacred.

The Grab & Go Grief Kit is a distillation of essential wisdom, tools, practices, and journaling prompts gleaned from over two decades of work with clients, as well as my own journeys through grief. It will help you understand the value and importance of your grief and it will provide you with exercises and practices to help you through. Specifically designed to be inviting, practical, and easy to use, the kit is a comforting hand to hold when you need it most.

WASHING THE BONES:

A MEMOIR OF LOVE, LOSS, AND TRANSFORMATION

My father died very suddenly and unexpectedly two days before Christmas when I was eight years old. Twenty-four years later, on another cold December day, my husband, a pilot, was killed when his plane crashed during a flight lesson.

Washing the Bones is a story of loss, but it’s also about a deep search for meaning and purpose. I wrote it to understand my husband’s life and death. I wrote it to find meaning. But most of all, I wrote it to support and inspire others who are suffering loss and who are looking for understanding and a way through their grief.

Combining personal memoir with psychological perspective and spiritual insight, Washing the Bones is an intimate, insider’s journey through life after loss, illuminating the metamorphosis that takes place when you face into your grief and allow “the fierce boiling” of life to transform you.

A page-turner that reads as much like a movie as it does a book.
